The Yorkshire Terrier - An Introduction.

These lovable and miniscule companions, like most other terriers weren't initially going to be household pets. They were then bred with local long haired Terriers to supply Yorkies. Yorkshire Terriers have a long and silky coat of fur, with no undercoat. When theyre born, their fur is black and tan. When they grow, the black often becomes more of a blue-gray color. They have small black noses and their teeth are sometimes leveled, with no over or under-bite. Heaps of folks poke fun at Yorkies in sweaters but in fact they aid in keeping the dog warm in the cold winter months. This may be in the winter or perhaps when its raining. Use caution when you take your Yorkshire Terrier outside in your yard or at the park, watch where he walks. You need to keep your dog away from sniffing tall grass or bushes where your dog can simply become snake prey. Yorkie owners need to recollect to be polite to their neighbours. Because your dogs feces is small doesn't mean your neighbour won't mind if it is laying in their yard. This is also correct when it comes to tracking dog poop in the house on your shoes. To avoid dental issues, you may want to think about feeding your Yorkshire Terriers dry food and definitely clean their teeth continually.

though its rare, they may have paralysis due to herniated disks or other spinal problems. They do demand lots of attention, though . They're good with folks generally and they like mature youngsters to children. Yorkies are steadfast and glorious dogs to have as a pet.
