But like any dog breed, you have to know what should be expected when getting a Yorkie. Is your Yorkshire terrier barking constantly without taking five? Yorkies by their very nature are yippy small dogs which explains why they are believed to be great watchdogs. First, understand that dogs have feelings too and they are potentially attempting to talk to you by barking. There are a few paths to make a response to your Yorkies barking. Other areas to take a look at would be checking for any pointed waste that could be lodge in his paws or along his ears or inserted in his fur. Passing more time with your Yorkie can contribute in getting shot of his barking because dogs do become lonesome when you're gone for long periods. If this is the case, you could have a pal or member of the family check in on your dog as frequently as twice each day to assure him that they haven't been deserted.
