The Yorkshire Terrier - An Introduction.

Yorkshire Terriers, commonly called Yorkies, came from Yorkshire in Northern Britain during the 19th century. Yorkie boxer.

They were then bred with local long haired Terriers to provide Yorkies. Over time, people bred the tiniest of the Yorkies till they continuously reduced in size. The 1st Yorkie that appeared as they do today made its appearance in a dog show in 1870. When theyre born, their fur is black and tan. When they progress, the black often becomes more of a blue-gray color. By standard, Yorkies have human-like hair thats extraordinarily soft and smooth to touch. Congratulations on getting a Yorkie puppy. Now while its a fact that Yorkies may make smaller messes but the dimensions of the mess doesn't actually affect the amount you're going to spend on cleaning up after your pup. Size does however play a crucial factor when it comes to the dimensions of a dogs bladder - the smaller the dog, the smaller the bladder.

Lots of folks poke fun at Yorkies in sweaters but in fact they help to keep the dog warm in the cold winter months. The dramatic change between the heat of the house to the cold or rough weather outside is hard on a Yorkies body. As quickly as they make it into the heat of your house the desire to go will come right back and the puppy will possibly go on the floor. You may wish to lay down some paper in a box and keep it in the garage as a backup potty plan during rough weather. You need to keep your dog away from sniffing tall grass or bushes where your dog can simply become snake prey. Yorkie owners need to do not forget to be polite to their neighbors. You wont notice it till its all over your carpet and the same applies for your neighbors. They do demand lots of attention, though . They're good with folks usually and they favor grown up youngsters to small youngsters.
