The Yorkshire Terrier - An Introduction.

The 1st Yorkie that appeared as they do today made its appearance in a dog show in 1870. When theyre born, their fur is black and tan. By standard, Yorkies have human-like hair thats terribly soft and smooth to touch.

They have little black noses and their teeth are often leveled, with no over or under-bite. They have v-shaped ears that stand erect on the head of their heads which causes them to look consistently alert. Like many thoroughbred dogs, Yorkies are susceptible to some genetic anomalies like Distichiasis ( eyelash that arises unusually on eyelid ), Hydrocephalus ( water in the brain ), Legg-Perthes illness ( deteriorative disease of hip joint ), and bladder stones. Congratulations on getting a Yorkie puppy.

Now while its a fact that Yorkies may make smaller messes but the scale of the mess doesnt actually affect the amount you're going to spend on cleaning up after your pup. Dogs with little bladders will have to use the potty more often and wont be in a position to hold it in so long as massive dogs. Plenty of folks poke fun at Yorkies in sweaters but in fact they help to keep the dog warm in the cold winter months. The cold can be very distracting for a dog that wishes to use the potty and could make them wish to run back within. This transition is formed far easier when the dog has a pleasant warm sweater on for acute cold weather. Click this link If you want stuff on yorkie pictures. Take care when you take your Yorkshire Terrier out of doors in your yard or at the park, watch where he walks. You need to keep your dog away from sniffing tall grass or bushes where your dog can simply become snake prey. This is also correct when it comes to tracking dog poop in the house on your shoes. At times they could be mulish but they are extraordinarily trainable dogs. They're good with folk generally and they like grown up kids to kids. Yorkies are unswerving and excellent dogs to have as a pet.
